SENIOR
B'S GET KITTED
The
Carrigaline Senior B Camogie panel were the beneficiaries
of a sponsorship deal from Tim Keane of Michel the Jewellers,
Cork, in the form of new kit bags and polo shirts for the
team at a reception and presentation which was held in the
meeting room of a Carrigaline GAA Club recently.
Carrigaline’s fortunes in the Cork camogie scene have
been particularly good of late, having qualified for the senior
grade in the past couple of years, with up and coming players
being watched by county selectors.
Tim Keane said that he was delighted to be associated with
the Carrigaline club, and wished the senior B team well in
the future league and championship campaigns. The team wasted
no time in trying out their new polo shirts a couple of days
later in the Pan Celtic Tournament in Tralee, involving teams
from right across the country and despite not coming home
with the trophy, certainly looked smart in their new casual
gear and kit bags.
Present at the presentation were team official Tom Kiely,
Angela Egan, Kay Murphy & Jackie O’Connor, with
club chairman Philip O’Doherty, team members and Captain
Caroline O’Keeffe who accepted the gear of behalf of
her team
